Bluntisham Cricket Club can confirm that next Saturday's annual Cricket Club Quiz night has been postponed due to fears over the Coronavirus outbreak.
Below is a statement from Chairman Richard Saltmarsh:
"After much consideration, together with publicised health advice, withdrawals on health grounds and consultation with a number of team captains and our Quizmaster, we have decided to postpone next Saturday's Cricket Club Quiz.
"Due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, it's only sensible to try and avoid putting others at unnecessary risk.
"We are aiming to rearrange the quiz between mid-October and early-November and will be in touch as soon as a date has been fixed.
"Can I take this opportunity of thanking you all on behalf of the Cricket Club for your support and we apologise for all the hard work done in arranging teams.
"I hope that you all remain fit and well and that we are all able to enjoy the summer ahead."
