
Bluntisham Cricket Club is pleased to declare that following the recent announcements by the government and the ECB, our net facility is now open again for club members only.
We have set out the following guidelines in conjunction with the Bluntisham Parish Council which must be adhered to at all times by BCC members.
*** FIRSTLY, IF YOU ARE SYMPTOMATIC OF COVID-19 (A NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH, HIGH TEMPERATURE OR A LOSS, OR CHANGE IN, NORMAL SENSE OF TASTE OR SMELL), LIVING IN A HOUSEHOLD WITH A POSSIBLE COVID-19 INFECTION OR IF YOU ARE CLASSIFIED AS EXTREMELY VULNERABLE ON HEALTH GROUNDS, YOU SHOULD REMAIN AT HOME AND FOLLOW GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE. ***
Before making a booking please can you read the ECB guidelines which can be found, HERE.
The nets must be booked in advance and no on-spec training is to take place.
All bookings will be supervised by a responsible adult.
In view of the need for supervision and supervisors, we can only open the facility between 4 PM and 7 PM.
Bookings will be for 45mins with 15 mins switchover time to collect kit and sanitise. The supervisor will unlock and lock.
Members are not to share equipment but to bring their own and only use their own kit. Batsmen must only tap the balls back with their bat
Hand washing must take place before and after your session and use of the hand sanitiser in line with the guidelines must be followed.
Members of the public are advised not to watch and players are to respect members of the public using the recreation area when arriving and leaving the facility.
Use of the village hall is not allowed under any circumstances.
