Thanks to everyone who came out to help at the 'Cricket Force Day' on Sunday, it was a great success.
A number of jobs were completed throughout the day in preparation for the new season and it was great to see so many of the villagers help and support the local cricket club. Your support means a great deal and allows us to progress as a club.
Some of the jobs that were completed were: sight screens cleaned, square rolled, hedge netting put in place and finally a brand new net was erected in the corner of the field.
Furthermore an unofficial net session took place the morning after with a number of teenage players. These are brilliant signs for the future of the club.
